Q) What mythical creature would you have as a pet?
A) A winged cat would be fantastic because it would be fun to have as a companion each day. The only hard part would be if it flew away when I was disciplining it!

Q) Which location in a book would you most like to visit and why?
A) I really like Hobbiton in The Fellowship of the Ring. I love gardening and eating, so it would be a lovely, peaceful place.
Q) How do you select what books you want to read?
A) Most of the time, I select books based on whether or not they have romance in them. Usually, if they have a romance subplot, I will enjoy them. However, I tend to gravitate toward authors I’ve discovered on Instagram over random authors.
Q) What are your favorite book tropes?
A) My favorite book tropes are friends to lovers, cinnamon roll MC, Grump and Sunshine, Found Family, Reluctant Hero, Chosen One, Secret Heir, Marriage of Convenience, and Happy Endings.
Q) What was your most recent 5 star read?
A) Of Dragons and Stone by Tara Grayce. I tend to re-read author favorites when I’m in-between books and trying to figure out what I want to read next. I had re-read Mountain of Dragons and Sacrifice, and then remembered I had the short story collection Of Dragons and Stone and hadn’t read it yet. So I decided to, and enjoyed the additional collection.

Q) Where is your favorite location to read? To write?
A) My favorite location to read is in my comfy leather chair or on my bed. Both are super comfortable! I enjoy writing at my desk, which is right in front of a window and looks out to the garden at our condo complex.
Q) Will you tell us about your Daughters of Tamnarae series?
A) Recently, I completed the first half of my Christian Fantasy series. These three books are a boxset that focus on Etania, the Chosen One, Keyel, her bodyguard love-interest, and Jakin, her absentee father. As they adventure together, they set out to battle an evil king, vengeful queen, and wicked demon. Through it all, they learn more about God and themselves.
Q) Can you tell us about your current writing project?
A) Currently, I’m working on the next half of my Christian Fantasy series, beginning with Lavanna, Etania’s daughter. It has been fun writing an ocean-adventure with new characters and some returning faces.
